Agenda
  • Finalization of 2.0 specification
    • Recent changes
    • Deed of covenant (change to deal with incorporation of OSLC Core specification)

Apologies: Scott, Dominic

Recent feedback around the "exactly one" of OSLC RM 1.0 dc:title (from the DOORS dev team) was discussed. The concern was that an RM provider might be required to implement an unnatural mapping to dcterms:title in RM V2.0. It was agreed that whilst the mapping might be unnatural for some RM providers this was to be expected; JIm reported a similar issue with the AM providers (using canned text for the name of associations). It was agreed that dcterms:title being "exactly one" was reasonable. Providers could set this property to read-only and provide basic data, leaving other properties to carry more useful user data. Jim pointed out that interesting data could be made available to consumers (support for Resource Shape and/or use of search terms in query).

General view that OSLC will encourage adoption of oslc:instanceShape to provide a good user experience to querying and modifying data.

Ian: to include implementation reports on RM 2.0 (Providers: RRC 3.0 beta; Consumers RTC 3.0, RQM 3.0 planned)

Dave: to ensure that OSLC Core spec. pages have a consistent title/version.
