Agenda

Review actions taken since last meeting

  • Scott B: For size / width in UI preview, don't say "must be interpreted as" say "must be"
  • Dave J: For references section, link to specific versions of DC, FOAF and XSD
  • Dave J: Propose new header for OSLC specs, something like the one here http://xmlns.com/foaf/spec/
  • Dave J: Propose new definition for oslc:isMemberProperty
    • New text is "For the purposes of the OSLC Query Syntax. If this boolean is true for the property we are describing, then the property will be used to return query results, i.e. each query result will be returned as one property value of the property. See Appendix B for examples of how member properties may be used."

Topics discussed

Need to schedule discussions on forward-looking topics and Jim Conallen mentioned baselining, commons/discussions and mutli-typed resources as topics we need to cover.

  • AI: Dave to propose schedule for next couple of months and seek topic owners

Discussed addition of specific version numbers in references section of spec and need to do the same in the other domain specifications. Also discussed the new header and agreed that it looks good and should be applied to all specifications.

  • AI: Dave to apply version number changes and headers to all domain specs and seek help from Scott and Steve

Discussed new description oslc:isMemberProperty and agreed that it is not really an improvement over the old definition. Quickly reviewed some of the query syntax spec, saw that oslc:from is still in the spec and decided that we need to meet separately to discuss oslc:isMemberProperty and oslc:from and make sure the spec is coherent on this topic.

  • AI: Dave to review Query Syntax spec again with oslc:isMemberProperty in mind
  • AI: Dave to schedule time to meet and clarify this issue
Topic revision: r2 - 17 Nov 2010 - 16:05:45 - DaveJohnson
