Agenda

  • Review updates to the asset resource sample.
    • Relationships are now defined using reification.
    • The ras:GUID and ras:version are now properties of the asset.
    • States, types, and categories are now resource properties instead of Strings.
    • Artifacts are now defined using reification. Should we consider using a collection instead?
  • Review updates to the asset resource specification.
    • The asset resource specification has been updated to include some of the changes that were made to the asset resource sample.
    • How do we include properties defined within a rdf:Description tag? See relationships for an example.

Notes from Meeting

Minutes

  • The RAS namespace should be removed from the specification
  • Agreed upon the use of reification for relationships and artifacts, but did not agree on how to include information about related resources such as the names of related assets, size of artifacts, etc.
    • OSLC core says to use queries. For example, query for all related assets or query for all artifacts
    • Ease of use would involve including this information with the asset resource. One suggestion was to use attributes.
  • Try to include more discussion around the usage and scenarios of the asset manament OSLC specification in future meetings. This will ensure we develop a useful specification and will allow for more participation.
